International Financing Forum (IFF) 2010

Because International financing partners are critical to funding today’s independent feature films.

 

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

 

·          Application deadline for Canadian producers: June 25, 2010

·          Application deadline for International producers: July 23, 2010

 

IFF is a feature film co-financing event at the Toronto International Film Festival® that brings together selected International and Canadian producers developing English language projects to do business through brokered meetings and networking opportunities with other International producers, as well as International sales agents, distributors, funders, agents, and executive producers.

 

IFF 2009 brought producers together with representatives from Film4 (UK), Pathe (France/UK), Fortissimo Films (The Netherlands/Hong Kong), Aramid Capital (UK), Backup Films (France), Quickfire Films (UK), BBC (UK), Europa Corp (France), Overture Films (US), Filmax (Spain), Cinetic Media (US), IFC Films (US), Kinowelt (Germany), Match Factory (Germany), Festival Darlings (Denmark), Echo Lake Productions (US), Participant Films (US), Magnolia Films (US), International Creative Management – ICM (US), United Talent Agency- UTA (US), K5 International (Germany), Voltage Pictures (France), William Morris Endeavor – WME (US), E1 (Canada), Memento (France), Apparition (US) and Big Beach Films (US).

 

Canadian and International feature film producers are invited to apply to participate in IFF 2010. Registration is free but competitive, with final selection to participate based on company track record and the suitability of projects.

Eligible applicants must have at a minimum, one full producer credit (not executive producer credit) on a theatrically released feature by a recognizable distributor, and a market oriented English Language project in development that requires international co-production and/or financing partners.
