Art in Nature Workshop October 15-17 @QueensU Biological Station

ART IN NATURE
Capture the fall colours for a weekend
October 15-17th at the Queen's University Biological Station

Enjoy the transition into fall by spending it outdoors amidst the changing colours. This weekend workshop focuses on the ability to capture the natural world in art form. It is open to all levels of artist ability. Come join us for the weekend to learn to simply interpret the natural world, increase observation skills, work on drawing and painting techniques and for expert tips on perspective, composition and colour choices.

Come join Instructor Marta Scythes for a weekend-long workshop at the Queen's University
Biological Station. All levels are welcome!

Workshop Description:

Instructor Bio: Marta Scythes is a medical illustrator, fine artist and educator. McClelland and Stewart published her
illustrations in their best-selling UP NORTH nature series as well as in The Canadian Encyclopedia. She is featured
in Canadian Geographic's Trans Canada Trail Guides and The Canadian Medical Association Magazine: Canadian
Health. She currently teaches at Fleming and St. Lawrence Colleges and The PEI School of Art
